AIM National Conference 2016: Key Times

Day One: Conference and Dinner

10.45am – 1.15pm: Registration and buffet lunch

1.00pm: Call to conference

1.15pm: Introduction to conference by AIM’s Chairman, Dr Matthew Tanner

1.30 – 5.00pm: Conference speakers, coffee break and break out sessions

7.00pm: Drinks reception at The Royal College of Surgeons followed by dinner

11.15pm: Dinner finishes

Day Two: Conference and Friday Night Social Event

8.15am: Registration opens

9.00am: Conference Day Two starts

10.45am: Coffee break – 30 minutes

13.00-14.00pm: Lunch and an optional Industrial Heritage Networking Lunch

3.30-3.40pm: Quick break

4.15pm: Conference ends

7.00pm: Scotch Whisky Experience – tour, tasting and supper

9.30pm Leave Scotch Whisky Experience


Day Three: Saturday Study Tour

8.45am: Coach picks up from hotels

9.15am: Arrive at The Royal Yacht Britannia

11.45am: Arrive at The National Mining Museum Scotland

2.00pm: Coach departs for Rosslyn Chapel. Or delegates can take a train from Newton Grange to Waverley Station, arriving in Waverley at 2.23pm

2.15pm: Arrive at Rosslyn Chapel

3.00pm: Depart Rosslyn Chapel for Edinburgh Airport

3.30: Arrive Edinburgh airport for departures

4.00pm: Coach arrives at Waverley Train Station
