Museums + Heritage Show: Come And Visit Us!

If you are attending the Museums + Heritage Show at Olympia on the 18 and 19 May, please come and say hello or find out about how AIM can support you at the AIM stand E1. You can download a copy of the Show Preview or take a look at the 2016 Show Highlights for this year’s event.

AIM will also be running a series of  ‘Ask the Expert’ sessions based on the themes of governance and futureproofing. These are free sessions that will be taking place in the designated Ask the Expert area at the show.

Tamalie Newbery, AIM’s Executive Director, will also be giving a talk on Thursday 19 May at 9.50am called: ‘Front of house: the frontline of museums’ futures’. Tamalie will look at future trends relevant to visitor experience and discuss how the AIM Hallmarks of Prospering Museums support organisations in delivering great experiences on the frontline and putting visitors at the centre of their future prosperity.

To celebrate the work of volunteers across the heritage sector, AIM partnered with the Museums + Heritage Awards in late 2015 to launch a brand new category at this year’s awards – the  Volunteers of the Year Award. The awards ceremony will take place on the evening of the 18 May as part of the scheduled events during the ever popular Museums + Heritage Show and nearly one hundred entries were received for this Award, making it by far the most popular and therefore competitive category at this year’s Awards.
