Two Free Places For AIM National Conference From Museum Development Yorkshire

All museums in Yorkshire are being offered the opportunity to attend AIM National Conference 2016 for free thanks to Museum Development Yorkshire. One place is for Local Authority museums and one is open to all.

Museum Development Yorkshire recognises that it is important for museum professionals to connect with colleagues through conferences and networking events, but also how stretched budgets can be when it comes to professional development. So they will this year also cover hotel accommodation and train travel (standard advance fares).

The 2016 national conference will focus on ‘The Elements of Success’ by looking at what enables some organisations to prosper and succeed, whilst others struggle. The conference is packed with examples of how independently spirited organisations are combining positive attitudes with good practice, to engage with visitors and deliver great experiences, within sustainable business models and it takes place from 23-25 June at the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.

If you would like a free place, then you need to tell Museum Development Yorkshire that you will:

*Commit to attending the whole conference

*Feedback to colleagues and the region via the Museum Development Yorkshire blog and other contributions
