International Tourism Toolkit

The British Council have just published a toolkit on international tourism for museums which is now available on the ICOM UK website:

The toolkit is a result of a project aimed at increasing the sustainability of non-national museums outside central London by raising awareness of the potential for attracting tourists from Brazil, Russia, India and China.

The project was funded by the ACE Museum Resilience Fund and the information in the toolkit was gathered by the partners in the project: Birmingham Museums Trust, Bristol Museum & Art Gallery, Culture Coventry, the Freud Museum, the Horniman Museum, the Manchester Museum, the People’s History Museum and SS Great Britain.
