AIM is looking for a consultant or consultants to help it deliver its major new project, which runs until March 2018.
AIM Hallmarks and Investing in Independence is a really exciting opportunity to make a major difference to the long-term success of over 60 museums and individuals, and at the same time to build the museum sector’s understanding of what makes resilient and prospering museums, through an ambitious, three-year, multi-strand programme. It is funded by Arts Council England.
The project has five main elements:
*A programme to raise awareness and understanding of the ‘AIM Hallmarks of Prospering Museums’
*Two training programmes, one aimed at museum leaders and one for ‘facilitators’ in the sector (museum development officers, consultants and others who work with museums)
*A board development programme and support for museum trustees
*A funding scheme
*Investment to help AIM deliver additional support to the sector
AIM wishes to recruit a consultant or consultants to help with two elements of the programme:
*Project development and evaluation
We invite consultants with suitable experience in organisational and leadership development to tender for either or both of these elements. Experience of working with small and medium sized charities is essential. The overall budget for the work is in the range of £57,000 to £66,000 over three years.
