Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy Programme update – April 2015

The Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy programme is now entering its 3rd year, and they have produced a leaflet outlining their plans for 2015/16 – you can download a copy of the PDF via this link.

Arts Fundraising Fellowships

The recruitment of 25 Arts Fundraising Fellows for 2015/16 is well underway, with assessment days currently taking place across England, having received more than 200 applications. The Host organisations are all confirmed, including London Transport Museum and the Black Country Living Museum – see the full list of Hosts via this link.

Fundraising Training

Plans for 2015/16 include a full set of Essential Fundraising Skills one-day training courses, further Trustee Leadership half-day courses, bespoke/tailored training, and a number of one-day courses being offered on demand. Further details will be announced in early May 2015; in the meantime you can find out more via this link.

National Summer School for Arts Fundraising and Leadership

Taking place in Leeds in August 2015, this is the only arts-specific residential course in fundraising and leadership in the UK. The Summer School is an accredited course with the University of Leeds with the potential of leading to a Postgraduate Certificate in Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy, and there is a strong academic focus on topics not covered by other training. Find out more and book online via this link.

AMA conference 2015

Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy is working with the Arts Marketing Association on their conference, taking place in Birmingham in July 2015. They are curating some of the content for fundraisers, and are also subsidising delegate places for up to 100 fundraisers to attend for just £150+VAT. Half of these places have already been allocated, so early booking is recommended. Find out more via this link.

Coaching and Action Learning

The final deadline for applications to join the Coaching and Action Learning programme is 12 June 2015; full details via this link. Meanwhile, there are places available for the next Action Learning day in Manchester on 30 April; full details and online booking via this link.
