Association of Chairs holding a workshop for new Chairs

The Association of Chairs is holding its first workshop for new Chairs in London on 15th December.

The workshop will help Chairs who are new in post to get a head start on meeting the challenges and seizing the opportunities they will face.  Led by AoC’s Chair, Ruth Lesirge and interim Executive Director Ros Oakley, it will help you make the most of your skills and your leadership role.

The workshop is free to members of the Association of Chairs and £25 for non-members.  (It’s better value if you join them, then you get to go to the workshop and enjoy all the benefits of membership for a year.)

More information and booking details on our New Chairs briefing here.

They plan to run this event regularly if there is sufficient demand. They are considering the following locations for future sessions: Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds, Bristol and Birmingham. Please do let them know if you are interested in attending a future event and if so your preferred locations.

The Association of Chairs also provides an excellent, free e-newsletter for Trustees and Chairs, which includes details of their events and activities. You can subscribe here.
