A quick update from Caroline Keppel-Palmer of Urban Salon regarding the Museum Freecycle scheme.

Membership of Museum Freecycle, the online portal run by Urban Salon, the Collections Trust and Share Museums East to help museums exchange exhibition build items for free, has now topped 220 museums.

Berwick Museum has collected four display cases from Prestongrange museum and is currently in the process of refurbishing the cases.

The Natural History Museum’s offer of five donation boxes generated a great response. The boxes are being recycled to Bloxham Village Museum, Dudley Canal Trust, The Garden Museum and Novium. The  other museums who responded are on a reserve list.
