Applications open for Gordon Fraser Charitable Trust’s Paper Conservation Fund

Gordon Fraser Charitable Trust has announced an increase in the percentage funding available to projects applying to their Paper Conservation Fund.

The Gordon Fraser Charitable Trust’s Paper Conservation Fund aims to help accredited museums in Scotland, in particular small and medium-sized independent ones, to work with conservators to undertake projects that conserve their collections of works on paper.  Projects can be treatment, surveys, training courses and skills development workshops.

The fund awards £6,500 a year in two rounds, and aims to support up to 6 projects a year with awards available from 80 – 100% of project costs. The Trust is particularly keen to fund at least one training day annually which will be funded at full cost.

The next deadline for applications is Friday 28th November 2014. Email enquiries@gfct.org.uk for Applicant Guidance and an Application Form.
