New succession planning framework launched by CyMAL

This framework, written by former AIM Council Member Emma Chaplin, will help museum, library and archives services begin to consider and address succession planning issues for their organisation.

Succession planning usually refers to planning for continued leadership in light of the departure of senior management. Museums, libraries and archives are long term organisations, so a long term outlook is needed to keep them running effectively.

The Succession Planning Framework provides templates for analysis and assessment of the current situation and an action plan template for future use.
