#MuseumWeek on Twitter – Why Everyone Should Get Involved

Twitter has seen how fabulous museums are and is launching #MuseumWeek 24-30 March 2014 to celebrate museums in the UK and across Europe.

Lots of AIM members are already signed up including Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, the Horniman Museum, People’s History Museum, Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, Pallant House, Tiverton Museum, Bodelwyddan Castle, Avoncroft Museum and dozens of others. Check out the list of everyone who has signed up so far here.

You can find out more about it and how to get involved on Mar Dixon’s blog. @MarDixon » Blog Archive » #MuseumWeek – Why Everyone Should Get Involved. There will be a different theme each day.

Let us know if you’re taking part. We also have a sample press release which you can use with local media so feel free to email tamalie@aim-museums.co.uk if you’d like a copy.
